My name is Darian, and I’ve always had a passion for both science and scent. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Biochemistry, spending countless hours in the lab—experimenting, testing, and refining until I found the perfect result.

That same mindset inspired The Scent Lab. Finding the right fragrance isn’t always instant—it’s a process of discovery. Just like in a laboratory, where trial and error lead to breakthroughs, exploring scents means testing different notes, experiencing unique compositions, and uncovering what truly resonates with you.

The Scent Lab gives you the freedom to explore and experience authentic niche and designer fragrances before committing to a full bottle. We offer curated fragrance samples in sizes ranging from 1mL to 30mL, allowing you to test, collect, and enjoy scents at your own pace. Every sample is carefully decanted from the original bottle, ensuring you receive 100% authentic, unaltered fragrances with complete transparency.
